Why Does LOVE have to HURT:
You meet someone,you LOVE and TRUST...
You give your HEART and SOUL...
Then they HURT you just when...
YOU think you've reached your GOAL...
They say the things you want to hear...
You feel your walking on air..
But then it all comes crashing down...
And they don't seem to care...
It's almost like, your in a daze...
Wondering what went wrong...
Why did this happen??
Please SOMEONE lift this HAZE...
I feel like I just got hit...
I feel sick inside.
Wonder if I should run away,
And find a place to hide...
But, then again, I sit and think...
What good would all that do...??
All the pain and heartache will just follow you...
So, I will try and catch my breath...
And move on with my life...
Hoping that as time goes by...
It won't cut me like a knife...
OH why does LOVE have to hurt so much...
I guess we'll never know...
But someday soon, I hope and pray...

Today I'll be just fine...
I know that in my heart and soul...
It's going to take some time...

And try to seem OK...

I try not to let them take...

And a lot of endless DOUBT...
